Newcastle Harley-Davidson hits the road at The Silverlink

Business at Newcastle Harley-Davidson will move up a gear after the company completed a move to a new, bigger showroom in the heart of one of Newcastle's most prestigious retail and business parks.

Newcastle Harley-Davidson's new home, which was formerly a dealership for distinguished motor brand Bentley, has moved to newly refurbished premises at The Silverlink - leaving behind the company's previous premises on Dinsdale Place in Sandyford after seven successful years.

Alongside the organisation's ongoing expansion, the management team of Paul O'Callaghan and David Hall undertook a recruitment drive in response to increased demand for the company's hugely popular products and services. Two new members of staff joined the branch, with the existing team welcoming a new salesman and a sales trainee.
 
The new dealership provides a greater and much more professional presence for Harley-Davidson in the city, whilst enabling the iconic brand to deliver even more products and services to the existing and new customers who travel from Tyneside, Teesside, Northumberland and Durham. The new premises at Silverlink include a new showroom and a retail store dedicated to clothing and apparel. Also included are individual and private meeting rooms and office space, as well as a high-tech area for motorcycle servicing.
 
David Hall, director of Newcastle Harley-Davidson said: "We are delighted with the response we have had since we moved to The Silverlink. Our existing customers have made the move across with us, and we are seeing  new faces come into the showroom as well. Our doors are open to everyone and the feedback we have had from our customers, old and new, has been great. It seems that the move has been a big positive for everyone.

"We are proud that the Harley-Davidson brand is now on display in a modern and state-of-the-art showroom, which is one of the main reasons for the move. We can now offer an even better service to our customers, and it is an exciting time for myself and everyone else at what is thought to be one of the best branches in the UK as we look towards the future.

"One of the aspects of the move was a recruitment drive, in which we targeted local people with experience of sales, servicing, parts, admin and clothing. We were inundated with applications from people interested in joining the Harley team, and we have welcomed two new members of staff to the team at Silverlink."
